Anacleto A. Alcala III served as the Senior Councilor of Lucena City from 2013 to 2022 before being elected as the Vice Governor of Quezon Province. For three (3) consecutive terms, he worked on legislation and programs aiming for a progressive community with provision for social services, dynamic agriculture, protected environment, and sustainable development to alleviate poverty as he led the committees on appropriation, ethics, urban poor, and agriculture as their chairman. Vice Gov Third has been in public service since his teenage years, being the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman of Barangay IX in Lucena City. He has always championed causes for the youth and the masses. His tagline “First ka kay Third” is a conviction that he makes it a priority to serve the people, and such is his focus as he presides over the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. As Iskolar ng Bayan, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. After which, he went back to the province, studied at Manuel S. Enverga University and garnered his Bachelor of Laws. Vice Gov Third is a family man – married to businesswoman Orchid Xiela Carlos, and father of four (4) children: Jaxynne, Fourth, Aixel, and Fifth.
