TROPICAL STORM “ENTENG” CONTINUES TO MOVE NORTH NORTHWESTWARD OVER ISABELA

Location:The center of Tropical Storm ENTENG was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Ilagan, Isabela (17.1 °N, 122.0 °E )

Strength:Maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 140 km/h

Present movement:Moving North Northwestward at 25 km/h

Pagbabalangkas ng Dairy Carabao Value Chain Analysis (VCA) sa Region IV-A | September 02, 2024

Ika-30 ng Agosto ng pangunahan ng Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project Regional Project Coordination Office IV-A (DA-PRDP- RPCO IV-A) at ng DA-Philippine Carabao Center (DA-PCC) ang kanilang aktibidad sa pangangalap ng datos para sa pagbabalangkas ng Dairy Carabao Value Chain Analysis (VCA) sa Region IV-A.

Ang VCA ay isang tool na nagdodokumento ng buong saklaw ng mga aktibidad sa isang commodity value chain mula sa pagsisimula ng prokduksyon hanggang makarating ang produkto sa konsumer. Ginagamit ng mga lokal na pamahalaan ang VCAs bilang batayan sa pagbuo ng Commodity Investment Plans (CIPs) upang makabuo ng mga interbensyon para sa sektor ng agrikultura at pangisdaan.

Ang DA-PRDP 4A at ang DA-PCC, kasama ng Office of the Provincial Veterinarian at OPPDC ay nagsagawa ng panayam sa mga pangunahing key players sa dairy carabao value chain (mga input supplier, mga dairy farmers, mga processors, mga institutional buyers, at mga tagapagbigay ng suporta para sa industriyang nabanggit) na mula sa Tayabas City, Lucban, Sariaya, at Lucena City. Tinalakay sa panayam ang mga pamamaraan sa pagsasaka, mga natanggap na interbensyon, relasyon sa iba pang mga key players sa value chain, at iba pa. Ang resulta nito ay gagamitin sa pagsusuri ng industriya ng dairy carabao sa rehiyon at pagtukoy sa mga pangunahing isyu at mga potensyal na interbensyon para mas paunlarin ang industriya ng gatasang kalabaw sa CALABARZON.
