Reason: Tripping of the Gumaca-Lopez-Tagkawayan 69kV line. Line patrol is ongoing to determine cause of outage and restoration time.

We are expediting resolution to this issue.

Specific affected areas are determined by the distribution utilities. NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled.

CHRISTMAS CHORALE

Feel and sing the sound of Christmas this 2023!

Who are eligible to join?

Open category: may represent a school, parish, district, company, agency, or interested group.

How to Join?

Register thru https://forms.gle/QtRwHyE9SEWdP8Qb8 upload a letter of endorsement from their respective Municipal/City Tourism Office and an affidavit that all choir members are Quezonians including the conductor and the accompanist on or before November 14, 2023. All registration outside the link will be not entertained.

Only 20 groups will qualify for the elimination round. And shall be announce on November 15, 2022 via the Tourism Quezon Province Facebook Page.

Choir/Group requirement:

The choir should have a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 25 members. (Inclusive of 1 Conductor and 1 Accompanist)

The choir members must be all Quezonians and shall perform in one group only.

Flow of competition:

The competition will be undertaken in 2 phases:

Phase 1

Elimination Round Batch 1 (odd numbers on the link registration) is on December 1, 2023, Friday, 6:00pm at Paskong Quezonian Stage, Capitol Compound.

Elimination Round Batch 2 (even numbers on the link registration) is on December 8, 2023, Friday, 6:00pm at Paskong Quezonian Stage, Capitol Compound.

Each choir is given 6-10 minutes performance time and shall sing 2 Christmas songs of their choice.

o Three (3) chorale group from Batch 1 and 2 will be selected and announced as finalist.

o Finalists will be required to submit their group photo to be used in Grand finalists’ promotional poster on or before December 11, 2023.

Phase 2 – GRAND FINALS

The Top 6 finalists (top 3 from batch 1/top 3 from batch 2) will perform live at the Paskong Quezonian Stage on December 16, 2023, Saturday, 6:00pm.

For the Grand Finals competition proper, each choir is required to sing two Christmas songs within 10 minutes. The two songs shall be: (1) an upbeat Christmas song and (2) an OPM/ Filipino Christmas song.

Music requirements:

Accompaniment is limited to one acoustic instrument only – either piano, guitar, or any other instrument.

Use of any electronic instrument or recorded accompaniment is not allowed.

General rules:

All expenses and incidental costs incurred related to the registration in the competition shall be borne by the participating group.

All songs must be sung from memory throughout the performance. Only the Conductor and Accompanist are allowed to use music sheets.

Hand-held props are allowed but not required.

Additional guidelines will be provided as needed.

The organizer have the right to use the recorded videos/audios in this competition to future activities or in any reference.

Ranking System shall be used in determining the winners of this competition.

The judges’ decisions will be final and irrevocable.

Prizes:

GRAND WINNER Php 75,000.00

1ST Runner-up 60,000.00

2nd Runner-up 50,000.00

3rd Runner-up 40,000.00

4th Runner-up 30,000.00

5th Runner-up 20,000.00

14 Consolations 10,000.00

Criteria for Judging (Elimination and Finals)

1. VOCAL (50%)

Vocal Technique – Tone Quality, Breath Support, Intonation, Diction and Articulation

Rhythm & Tempo – Voice in relation to music

Timing – Coordination of singers in their performance in regards to syncing of vocals and interaction on stage. Harmony – Arrangement, execution, difficulty and creativity.

2. EXPRESSION (30%)

Performance – Interpretation of the meaning and mood of the song

Match – Voices and personalities matched to the song being performed. Chemistry – Coordination

3. SHOWMANSHIP (20%)

Show Design – Music selection, effective use of stage and performance area, outfit and style

Entertainment Value – The audience’s and judges’ reaction to the overall performance

Choreography – How well the group is able to use the stage and each other to create a show.

Meeting with Department Heads & QPHN Chief of Hospitals | October 17, 2023

Ngayong araw ng Martes, Oktubre 17 isinagawa ang pagpupulong ng mga Department Heads ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan kasama ang Chief of Hospitals ng bawat Quezon Provincial Hospital Network.

Sa paglalayon na mas maging organisado ang sistema sa usaping budget ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan, pinangunahan ni Governor Doktora Helen Tan ang nasabing pagpupulong upang mapag-usapan ang Proposed Annual Budget para sa taong 2024.

Binigyang linaw din ang mga pagbabago sa ilang mga programa at proseso ng alokasyon ng budget para sa bawat tanggapan.

Isa sa nabigyang diin ay ang pagiging sentralisado ng ilang mga pondo sa ilalim ng Integrated Provincial Health Office at General Services Office.

Isinagawa ngayong araw, Oktubre 16 ang Consignment Committee Meeting na may kaugnayan sa Provincial Ordinance No. 2023-015 series of 2023. Dinaluhan ng pamunuan ng QPHN-QMC at ng iba’t-ibang tanggapan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ang nasabing pagpupulong upang mapag-usapan at mabigyang linaw ang mga hakbang patungkol sa implementasyon ng naturang ordinansa.

Inilatag ni Provincial Health Officer Dra. Kristin Mae-Jean Villaseñor ang Simplified Consignment Process Flow na naglalaman ng mga organisadong aksyon patungkol sa naturang usapin.

Layon ng nasabing pagpupulong na mabigyang solusyon ang kakulangan ng supply ng mga gamot sa lahat ng ospital sa lalawigan.

Patuloy ang pagsusumikap ni Governor Doktora Helen Tan na mas mapaigting ang serbisyong pangkalusugan sa pamamagitan ng walang sawang paghahanap ng solusyon sa bawat suliraning may kaugnayan sa usaping pangkalusugan.

Ginanap ngayong araw ng Lunes, Oktubre 16 ang Exploratory Meeting and Finalization of Contract para sa Memorandum of Agreement sa pagitan ng Quezon Provincial Hospital Network – Quezon Medical Center at Philippine Health Insurance Corporation patungkol sa Z Benefit Package for End Stage Renal Disease Requiring Peritoneal Dialysis “PD First” na nais maibaba sa lalawigan.

Nakipagpulong si Governor Doktora Helen Tan sa pamunuan ng Phillippine Health Insurance Corporation Region 4A sa pangunguna ni PHIC 4A Regional Vice President Dr. Danilo M. Reynes kasama si LHIO Head Jonathan Alim at ilan pang kawani ng PHIC Lucena.

Dumalo rin sa nasabing pagpupulong si QPHN – QMC Chief of Hospital Dr. Juan Eugenio Fidel Villanueva, QPHN – QMC Chief Nurse Salome Paycao, QPHN – QMC Head Legal Officer Atty. Generson Paul Mercado at ang iba pang kawani ng tanggapan na may kaugnayan sa nasabing usapin.

Batid ng Gobernadora ang hirap na dinaranas ng bawat pasyente kaya naman patuloy ang pagsusumikap ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan na makapagbigay ng mga programang makatutulong upang makabawas sa bigat ng mga gastusin para sa mga mamamayan na nangangailangan ng komprehensibong gamutan.

66th Regular SP Session – Via Zoom Teleconference | October 16, 2023

Sa isa na namang makasaysayang linggo ng paglilingkod sa Lalawigan ng Quezon, ginanap ang ika-66 na pangkaraniwang pulong ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ngayong araw ng Lunes, Oktubre 16.

Aprubado sa ginanap na virtual session ang mga ordinansa, resolusyon, atas tagapagpaganap at mga liham mula sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan na magbibigay kaayusan at kapakinabangan para sa bawat mamamayan.

Isa na rito ang para sa sektor ng pangisdaan kung saan aprubado ang kautusang bayan ng Catanauan na magtatakda ng mga pagbabago at pagdaragdag sa mga pambayang kautusan na siyang makakatulong sa mga mangingisda doon.

Sa usaping pang kapaligiran, aprubado ang liham na nagbibigay pahintulot kay Governor Doktora Helen Tan na pumasok at makalagda sa isang kasunduan sa pagitan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan at Department of Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR) Region IV-A Calabarzon, Department of Public Works and Highways Quezon patungkol sa pagbuo ng Lagnas River Watershed Management Council at Macalelon River Watershed Management Council.

Hiling lamang sa pulong na magbigay ng sapat na representasyon at bigyan ang sanggunian ng kaukulang balita sa mga magiging kaganapan sa pagbuo ng mga konsehong ito.

Sa huling bahagi ng sesyon, binigyang pugay ni Vice Governor Third Alcala ang mga secretariat ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Quezon sa pagiging masikap ng mga ito na hindi magkaroon ng mga nakabinbing mga gawain.
