Blessing of Science Centrum – Quezon, Quezon | April 05, 2024

Masayang nakiisa si Governor Doktora Helen sa isinagawang paglulunsad ng ikalawang DOST Science Centrum sa lalawigan ng Quezon na matatagpuan sa Cesar C. Tan Memorial National High School sa Quezon, Quezon nitong araw ng Biyernes, Abril 5.

Kasamang dumalo sa nasabing programa sina DOST Secretary Renato Solidum Jr., DOST Undersecretary for Regional Operations Dr. Sancho Mabborang, Chairman of the Philippine Foundation for Science and Technology (PFST) and Former DOST Secretary – Prof. Fortunato T. Dela Peña, at Regional Director DOST-CALABARZON Emelita Bagsit.

Ang nasabing ay malaking tulong sa mga mag-aaral ng nasabing isla gayundin ang Alabat at Perez upang mapa-unlad pa ang kaalaman ng mga kabataan sa Siyensya at Teknolohiya.

Samantala, naipamahagi rin ang bagong mga school equipment mula sa Team Energy Corporation na lubos na mapakikinabangan ng mga estudyante.

Lingap sa Mamamayan Libreng Gamutan – Quezon, Quezon | April 05, 2024

“Bitbit namin ang siksik, liglig, at umaapaw na serbisyong tunay at natural.”

Sa pagpapatuloy ng misyong mailapit ang serbisyo ng kapitolyo para sa bawat mamamayang Quezonian, umarangkada muli ang programang “Lingap sa Mamamayan, Libreng Gamutan” sa isla ng Quezon, Quezon ngayong April 5.

Mainit na pinangunahan ni Governor Doktora Helen Tan ang Medical Mission kung saan ay nakapagtala ng 2,666 na benepisyaryo ng mga serbisyong medikal ng libreng medical check-up, Physical Theraphy, Eye Check-up, ENT, Orthopedic, Minor Surgery, tuli, PCV 23 Vaccination, Cervical Cancer Screening, at Family Planning Implant.

Gayundin ang iba’t-ibang laboratory examinations tilad ng X-ray, ECG, CBC, FBS/RBS, Ultrasound, at Urinalysis.

Nakatanggap naman ang bawat Barangay sa nasabing isla ng nagkakahalagang 55,000 na essential medicines na pantawid tulong para sa mga may iniindang sakit.

Mayroon ding pamamahagi ng medical assistance ang Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) sa mga pasyente na hindi available ang iniresetang gamot ng doktor, at kasabay na nagsagawa ng Veterinary Medical Mission ang Provincial Office of the Veterinarian.

Nakasama sa ginanap na programa sina Vice Governor Third Alcala, 4th Congressman Atorni Mike Tan, Board Member Sonny Ubana, Board Member Harold Butardo, Board Member Derick Magbuhos, at Mayor Juan Escolano.

Lingap sa Mamamayan, Libreng Gamutan – April 05, 2024

Mga kalalawigan, magkakaroon ng libreng serbisyong gamutan na gaganapin sa isla ng Quezon (April 5), Alabat (April 6), at Perez (April 7) kung saan maaaring makapagpatingin ng kalagayan ng kanilang kalusugan ang mga residente ng nasabing mga bayan.

GAD-FPS Benchmarking Visit with National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region I | April 03, 2024

TINGNAN: Bumisita sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Quezon ang mga miyembro ng Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System ng National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region 1 ngayong araw ng Miyerkules, Abril 3.

Ibinahagi ng Provincial Gender and Development Office sa nasabing rehiyon ang mga nakamit na tagumpay ng Lalawigan ng Quezon, at ang magagandang kasanayan na ginagamit ng mga ito upang makapagtamo ng mga natatanging karangalan gaya ng mga sumusunod:

•Philippine Commission on Women certifies Quezon Province as GAD Local Learning Hub 2023-2026

•Quezon Province as an Outstanding GAD Implementer during 2015-2021 by the National Economic and Development Authority.

•Ideal Functionality under the 2023 Local Committees on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children Functionality Assessment awarded by the DSWD and DILG.

Sa mga ganitong klaseng bisitasyon, inaasahan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan na nakapagbahagi ang pamunuan ng PGAD ng sapat na kaalaman upang mas mapaunlad pa ang Gender and Development hindi lamang sa unang rehiyon kundi pati na rin sa lahat ng rehiyon sa bansang Pilipinas.

Pertussis Surveillance Report | January 01, 2024 – March 30, 2024

Ang lalawigan ng Quezon ay nakapagtala ng tatlumpu’t dalawang (32) kaso ng Pertussis na nagmula sa iba’t-ibang bayan ng lalawigan. Pito (7) sa mga kasong ito ay CONFIRMED o naging positibo sa laboratory test. Wala pang naiitalang namatay dahil sa sakit na Pertussis sa Quezon.

16 o 50% ng mga naitalang kaso ng Pertussis ay mga batang wala pang isang (1) taong gulang. Lahat ng pitong (7) CONFIRMED cases ay hindi nabakunahan laban sa Pertussis.

Ang mga bata ang higit na mas nanganganib kung tuluyan pang kakalat ang sakit na ito. Ang sakit na Pertussis ay maiiwasan sa pamamagitan ng pagpapabakuna sa mga batang may edad 6, 10, at 14 na lingo.

Naiipapasa ang sakit na Pertussis sa pamamagitan ng “respiratory droplets” mula sap ag-ubo at pagbahing ng taong naimpeksyon. Maiiwasan ang pagkalat nito sa pamamagitan ng mga sumusunod:

-Pagtatakip ng ilong at bibig kapag bumabahing o umuubo

-Palagiang pagsusuot ng mask at maghuhugas ng kamay

-Pag-iwas sa matataong lugar at kung may sintomas na ay huwag nang papasukin sa eskwelahan

-Maagang pagpapa check-up at pagre-report ng mga kaso sa inyong lugar.
