Labing-apat (14) na aftershocks ang naitala makalipas ang naunang lindol nitong umaga ng 04 September 24 2024 – 07:16 AM.
Sa pinakahuling ulat ng PHIVOLCS, muling niyanig ang Jomalig ng Magnitude 2.3 na lindol kaninang 01:25:46 PM.

Service Award for Retirees | September 04, 2024
Pinangunahan ng Provincial Human Resource Management Office ang Service Award for Retirees para sa mga nagretirong kawani ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Quezon nitong Enero hanggang Hunyo taong 2024 na ginanap sa 3rd Floor Conference Hall Capitol Building, Lucena City ngayong Miyerkules, Setyembre 4.
Nagbigay naman ng kanilang mensahe sina Vice Gov. Third Alcala, Board Member 4th District, Hon. Harold D. Butardo at Provincial Administrator Manny Butardo.
Sa kabuaan, mayroong 38 ang mga nagretiro na binubuo ng 16 compulsary, 15 optional at 7 early retirement ang binigyan ng karangalan sa kanilang serbisyo sa pamahalaan at lalawigan ng Quezon.
Pinarangalan nina Vice Gov. Third Alcala, Hon. Harold D. Botardo, PA Manny Butardo, PGDH-HRMO Rowell Napeñas at Budget Officer Diego Salas ang 38 retiradong empleyado ng plaque at cash incentives para sa dedikasyon at kontribusyon ng mga nagretirong manggagawa na naglingkod nang matagal sa kanilang ahensya.
Sa pagtatapos ng seremonya, binigyang-diin ni Dr. De Vera ang kahalagahan ng patuloy na serbisyo publiko at hinikayat ang kasalukuyang mga empleyado na magsilbing inspirasyon mula sa dedikasyon ng mga nagretiro at maghangad ng kahusayan sa kanilang sariling mga tungkulin.

Sakay ng nasabing bangka ang kapitan na si Mr. Alejandro K. Mahinay at kasama pang 14 crew na residente ng Brgy. Dinahican Infanta, Quezon.
Sa pangunguna ni Governor Doktora Helen Tan pinabibilis na ang paghahanap sa nasabing Missing Boat kabalikat ang iba’t ibang ahensya gaya ng Philippine Airforce, Philipline National Police, Philippine Coast Guard at iba pa.
Sama-sama nating ipagdasal ang kaligtasan ng mga nawawalang kababayan natin.

Four aftershocks were recorded already as of 7:33 am. Aftershocks are still expected.
CLASSES IN JOMALIG ISLAND ARE SUSPENDED.

(UPDATED) Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirms that government work and classes in all levels for BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE schools in Metro Manila and Calabarzon will be suspended Tuesday (Sept. 3, 2024) due to the after-effects of Tropical Storm #EntengPH.
