Pagpupulong ng Quezon Provincial Council on Disability Affairs (QCDA) | September 20, 2024

Sa Ikatlong pagkakataon nagkaroon ng pagpupulong ang Quezon Provincial Council on Disability Affairs (QCDA) sa St. Jude Coop Hotel and Event Center, Brgy. Isabang.Tayabas Quezon, ngayong araw ng Biyernes, Setyembre 20.

Layunin ng programa na matugunan ng ahensya ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ang seguridad, pangangailangan at karapatan ng mga Person With Disabilities (PWDs) sa iba’t ibang Local Goverment Units (LGUs) sa buong Lalawigan ng Quezon.

Matatandaan noong Hunyo 27 na pagpupulong, tinalakay ng (QCDA) ang Republic Act No. (RA) 11650, o kilala bilang โ€œInstituting a Policy of Inclusion and Services for Learners with Disabilities in Support of Inclusive Education Act”, na ipinatupad ng organisasyon na ang bawat PWD ay may karapatang makisalamuha sa normal na paaralan ngunit, may iba’t ibang limitasyon na nakadepende sa kalagayan ng mag-aaral.

Sa pangunguna ni Rev. Benjamin R. Hugo Executive Director of QCDA tinalakay ngayong araw ang Resolution No. 2024-001-004 ito’y pagpaplano ng ahensya na magkaroon ng Inclusive Learning Resource Center (ILRC) ang bawat (LGUs) para sa ating PWD. Kasama ring tinalakay ang mga pamantayan para “Search for PWD Friendly LGUs” upang magbigay parangal sa taong 2025.

Sa huli, ang iba’t ibang ahensya ng Panlalawigang Pamahalaan ay patuloy na magbabalikatan para sa ikabubuti ng (PWDs) sa ating bayan.
