PROVINCIAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR OFFICE

- Lead a collaborative planning process, by engaging stakeholders from all sectors to create a shared vision and develop comprehensive plans for a more progressive Quezon Province.
- Advocate for strategic investments through securing resources and promoting investments that align with provincial goal and priorities.
- Nurture the capacity of the workforce through continuous capability development trainings for effective implementation of development interventions that will equip local government units and communities with the tools and expertise needed to realize provincial plans.

MANDATES AND FUNCTIONS
- Formulate integrated economic, social, physical and other development plans and policies for reconsideration of the provincial development council.
- Conduct continuing studies, researches, training program necessary to evolve plans and programs for implementation.
- Integrate and coordinate all sectoral plans and studies undertaken by the different functional groups or agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the different development programs, projects and activities in the province in accordance with the approved development plan.
- Prepare comprehensive plans and other development planning for the consideration of the provincial development council.
- Analyze the income and expenditure patterns, and formulate and recommend fiscal plans and policilies for reconsideration of the finance committee.
- Promote people participation in development planning within the province.
- Sits as the chairperson of the Provincial land Use Committee.
- Exercise supervision and control over the secretariat of the provincial development council.
