SM City Lucena has been a partner establishment of the most activities organized by the Quezon Provincial Tourism Office. It is known for their marketing strategies and has long been a household name. The HELLO QUEZON event features municipalities, organizations and institutions via an exhibition that highlights food and crafts, culture and the arts, and endeavors pertaining to the development of the tourism industry. The Tourism Office is seizing every opportunity to market, promote and advertise Quezon Province, the products, the places, and the people, hence, Hello Quezon.
This year’s Hello Quezon is participated of two different schools the Colegio de Santo de Cristo de Burgos, Inter - global College Foundation Inc., Computer System Technological College Inc., and Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation. And with the discussion about the Quezon’s Culinary of Ms. Ma. Cristina D. Decal of Kulinarya Tagala.
This is the first year of the Provincial Tourism Office to conduct a competition during the Hello Quezon activity such as: Cake Decoration, Food Carving, Flair Tending with Cocktail Mixing, and the Quezon’s Master Chef Student Edition.
The Cake Decoration winners are Ms. Mikaehla P. Salumbides of CSTC Sariaya got the second place and Ms. Mawra Karla M. Motilla of CSTC Atimonan got the first place. In Food Carving, Ms. Lorraine Erika Hernandez second place and Ms. Judy Ann Damiano was the first place both are from Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation. In Flair Tending with Cocktail Mixing: 1st Place – Mr. Johnsel T. Osela of Manuel S. Enverga University and 2nd Place – Mr. Kierven V. Santander of CSTC Sariaya.
