Guinayangan, Quezon receive Lingap Kalusugan sa Barangay health coupons amounting to a total of Php 1,325,000.00 this February 13, 2013. The turnover of the ceremonial cheque was attended by Quezon Governor David “Jayjay” C. Suarez, withSenior Board Member Romano Franco Talaga, 4th district BM Manuel Butardo, 4th district BM Gerald Ortiz, Guinyangan Mayor Angel Ardiente, Jr., Vice Mayor Eduardo Cambronero and the barangay captains of the said town.(QUEZON PIO)
Lingap Kalusugan sa Barangay health coupons with a total worth of Php 3,375,000.00 were distributed to the two municipalities of Calauag and Guinayangan, Quezon this February 13, 2013. The coupons, also known as Serbisyong Suarez health coupons, were received personally by the captains of the 134 barangays that make up the two towns.
The Rural Health Unit of Calauag was also given medicines worth Php 200,000.00 by the provincial government, as promised by Quezon Governor David “Jayjay” C. Suarez to Mayor Luisito Visorde.
Gov. Suarez commended the barangay captains for what he calls a “job well done”, and stressed the importance of empowering leaders from the grassroots level in making the programs and projects of the provincial government successfully reach every Quezonian.
With their help, Gov. Suarez said, more than 112,000 residents of the province have experienced and benefitted from the medical assistance provided by the health coupons.
Gov. Suarez also reminded the barangay captains to treat fairly those who approach them, asking for the health coupons.
Mayor Visorde, as well as Guinayangan Mayor Angel Ardiente, Jr. expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Gov. Suarez in behalf of their towns’ residents. The barangay captains and councillors of the said towns also gave their support and shared their optimism that the current administration will continue its responsive and proactive services for the people of Quezon.
