Seal of Good Housekeeping

The late DILG Secretary Jessie Robredo awarded the Seal of Good Housekeeping to the Province of Quezon for its practice in good governance manifested by a sound fiscal management, transparency,accountability, and valuing performance management.

The Provincial Government of Quezon, through the leadership ofGov. David Jayjay" Suarez, achieved a Local Government PerformanceManagement System (LGPMS) rating of 4.79% for the year2011. Due to this high rating, the Province of Quezon received thecoveted Seal of Good Housekeeping" the Kalilayan Hall in LucenaCity on the 25th of June, 2011.

According to the DILG Regional Director Josefina E. Castilla-Go, theprovincial government was successful in implementing environmental,educational, agricultural, and healthcare projects. And aproof of the province's unwavering thrust to promote transparencyand good governance was that, for the year 2012, it topped the last year's winning rating with the new average of 4.88% - the highestever in the history of the province.

Quezon Province is the only province that garnered 100% LGUawardees in the entirety of Region IV-A.
