The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist awarded 11 farmers who underwent training in apiculture (caring for honeybees), handicraft andcoco sap sugar production with certificates of recognition last November 26, 2012 during the flag raising ceremony of Provincial Government employees at the Old Capitol Building, Lucena City.
Three days were allotted forapiculture training, while handicraft making took two days. Coco sap sugar production training, on the other hand, only took only one day.
Those that attended the flag raising ceremony were also the lucky recipients of a livelihood showcase provided by the Provincial Government of Quezon.
Jojo Landig, a livelihood showcase recipient and farmer who underwent handicraft manufacture training, expressed his support for the projects and programs the Provincial Government disseminates to its people. He thanked Governor David C. Suarez for the showcase and added that he wished for the good governor to keep up his good work which touches the lives of Quezonians even in far-flung areas of the province.
According to Gov. Suarez, the implementation of programs in the whole province is a success, as many show their gladness and support for it. He promised the people of Quezon that they can count on him to provide for the needs of his constituents, and he will always strive to give them the best he can. (QUEZON PIO)
